About Us

Gina is the Physiotherapist at Affinity Veterinary Physiotherapy. She qualified as a chartered human Physiotherapist in 2012 and has since undergone a further two years of study to specialise as a Veterinary Physiotherapist. She is a member of ACPAT (The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy), who are the only professional bodies to accredit combined human and Veterinary Physiotherapy.

Her human Physiotherapy experience in musculo-skeletal injuries, orthopaedics, rehabilitation and neurology combined with a further two years of study has given Gina an extensive understanding of these issues in the animal patient. Furthermore, this enables her to do combined rider and horse assessments onsite to fully understand the cause of any problems.

She has attended a course run by Andy Thomas on the management, treatment and rehabilitation of the human equestrian athlete. This gives her the ability to assess and treat the rider to improve horse and rider performance.

Gina has a Golden Retriever called Cassie, who is 14 and still learning new tricks! She has ridden from a young age and currently part loans Tony. Gina  loves to spend time at the yard and out hacking in her spare time.
